HEALTHY SWAPS FOR SALTY CRAVINGS
If you’re like me and love a salty snack like chips and popcorn, you’re probably aware of the fact that there is a variety of chips at the store, many of which are made with unhealthy ingredients such as vegetable oils, like canola oil and safflower oil, flour, processed dairy, artificial flavors… and really the list could go on.
But avoiding those snacks altogether isn’t necessary, and really isn’t an option in my house.
So instead of swearing off chips, the key is finding healthier and cleaner swaps so you can have your cake (or chips) and eat it too.
Below are some healthier snacks that I always keep stocked in our kitchen for when my family and I are craving something salty. They are made with clean oils like olive oil or avocado oil, various seasonings, and vegetables and you can feel good knowing that you’re satisfying your craving in a healthy way.

Simple and clean ingredients including cassava flour, avocado oil, pumpkin powder, coconut flour, psyllium husk, sea salt. Dip it in some guacamole for. a healthy fat to balance out the carbohydrates and how they effect your blood sugar.
3. Simple Mills Almond Flour Crackers, Farmhouse Cheddar
Think of these as cheezits, but healthier. Made with nuts and seeds, organic cheese, and seasonings, you can feel good eating it.
4. Sprouts Grain-Free Tortilla Chips, Nacho Flavor
These Sprouts brand chips are made with cassava flour, avocado oil, coconut flour and delicious seasonings, these chips tastes like doritos and, and let’s just say we go through bags quickly in our house.
Similar to the Siete brand chips, these potato chips are also made with the simple ingredients of potatoes, avocado oil and sea salt.
